Part club, part bar, part lounge, Blue Room Lounge & Restaurant is the hippest spot on a somewhat grungy end of 18th Street. There's a bar and dance area on the first floor and a comfortable loft-lounge space upstairs. Cosmos and Caiparinhas seem popular and there's a wide selection of beers. The crowd is well dressed and laid back, and on Wednesday nights you can be the DJ for a half-hour set. Be prepared however to blow out your eardrums with the house music! Dining options are moderate but filling, including items such as crab cakes, grilled chicken, and beef tenderloin. For style without the attitude, the Blue Room is for you.
